What, another takeaway for Church Street?

January 31st, 2008 by Westhoughton Liberal Democrats | Filed under > Top News, Planning.

006.JPGPlans have been submitted to open up a fast food take away on Church Street.

The application is for the vacant shop next door to the Washeteria and opposite the greengrocers.

The applicant - Mrs Shoshtari from Bury - has claimed the shop as been empty for two years and no one wants to use it, so she has a applied to turn it into a hot food take away which would be open 7 days a week between the hours of 4pm to 12 midnight.

The shop, 79 Church Street, used to sell baby goods and soft furnishings.

If you have any objections about the application or would like to support it you can register your concerns or support with Bolton Council by writing to the Director of Development and Regeneration at Bolton Hall and quote reference number 79095/07 or you can use Bolton Council’s website by going to www.bolton.gov.uk.
