If the school's proposed name change provokes such ire in the "public" then perhaps they will be assuaged by adotping the historically accurate "Westhalcton" moniker instead. It is part of a development journey the school has been going through over the last 2 years, in which the teachers, deputy & head have worked extremely hard to pull the school out of special measures and achieve an Ofsted rating of 'good'.
