To me this seems a bit ridiculous – forcing residents to walk across town with bags of rubbish, with the worsening ice and snow on the ground. The limited collection points are certainly not close enough for us to consider risking life and limb just so our rubbish will be collected. Driving the refuse trucks along main roads and stopping at the end of streets is surely a safer option than asking residents to drag bin-bags out across town.
