Pothole watch: 6 weeks delay to repairs
The council have admitted to Westhoughton campaigner Neil Maher that they now have such a big backlog of road repairs that there is a delay of 6 weeks to getting potholes fixed.

The new road from Platt Lane to Chequerbent roundabout should have opened in June but now Persimmon Homes have asked Bolton Council to alter the planning condition to delay the opening of the new road due to “health and safety concerns”.
